Didn't try this, but since the shutter was open longer the cars in the background turned into streaks of light, gives it a cool effect that I guess I was going for.

Got a new versatile tripod today and was trying it out. Pretty neat little thing, I now can place my camera in strange angles I'd never be able to get before.

Never was a big fan of sepia, but when you mess with the shadowing color, I'll have to agree it gives the picture a cool effect.

It's amazing how much better pictures turn out when theres actually light when you take them. I like the effect I got from taking this through 2 panes of glass. Hopefully you don't notice the tripod in the reflection....

Taking pictures in 16 degrees is most likely the most fun thing you can do in ever. I was going for more of a silhouette  but I thought the saturation on the right gave more of a "it's cold" vibe.

Still amazingly cold out. By the time I get off work my only options are night pictures in the cold or non-inventive pictures indoors. Such is life.

Recently I've noticed that my picture of the day is usually a fight between two different pictures and one barely wins. I've decided to make yet another blog or some other sort of medium of which I can display these since I'm sure some days, I pick the wrong one. I'll keep you posted on what and where I put them.
